I have often wondered why the Vline drivers sometimes announce that the train will be running express from Melton to Bacchus Marsh, Bacchus Marsh to Ballan etc etc when it's very clear that there are no stops to stop at between those places.
Who would be foolish enough to think that they could take the train to a stop between Ballan and Ballarat?
But then it just occurred to me, the time travellers might not be aware that these stops don't exist at this time. The announcements about running express are for their benefit.
That's right, Vline is in collusion with the time travellers.
You'd think with time travellers Vline would manage to be punctual more often.

My Thoughts About Tara and Her Psychic Abilities
In my last entry about her, I think I may have conceded that Tara may be a little more than a fraud or a demi god (because the two are so similar). Since then I have recieved a couple more messages from her, which have caused me to change my mind about her again.
I have come to the conclusion that Tara is, in fact, the real deal when it comes to this psychic voodoo stuff; what she has "seen" in regards to me is uncanny, and unless she happens to be a very good fraudster who actually knows me in person, I seriously doubt that she's just making this up.
Of course, there's still the possibility that she is a demi god ... but she's far less dangerous if I just consider her a common, run of the mill for real psychic.
But just because I have come to the conclusion that Tara is bona fide psychic, doesn't mean that I'm going to rush out and pay for her services; there's still an element of fraud happening here;
While Tara may well be able to "see" people's futures, I still think she's trying to fool the foolish and gullible out of their hard earned: Tara "sees" a person's future improving and then immediately sends of messages to that person informing them that she can help improve his/her lot in life if they pay for her voodoo services, and then claims that the improvement she foresaw as her own work.
But what Tara doesn't realise (and she really should, all things considered" is that mumma didn't raise no fool, nor am I gullible (at least I hope not). And on top of that, I've been keeping a journal and can actually see the improvement in my life. Even without her help, which I'm sure she'd be claiming was all her doing if I had've actually paid for her services.
Oh, and I also have to point out the sense of violation I felt when Tara informed me that she has seen my entire life. Past, present and future.
I don't know why, but this really makes me uneasy. It's my life, and mine to share with those I choose to share it with. For her to just come along and see it all has to be some kind of invasion of privacy.
It was so much easier to shrug this off when I was convinced that she was a phoney psychic instead of an opportunistic psychic.

Beneficial Thought Time
Even though she can't apparently help me no longer (I missed our window of opportunity for that), I'm apparently still on Tara's mailing list; I get her beneficial thoughts sent to me.
How thoughtful of her.
Even though Tara can't help me out at this time, she's still going to give me the benefit of her thoughts.
I wonder if there's pyschic magic that will mean that she's still somehow helping me. Maybe then I'll actually land this Ticketek job.
I somehow doubt it though.
After all, the message is all about money, and how I'd be foolish not to want it, because it's bad an unnecessary.
Well, I think Tara just showed that she's very clearly not a pyschic; any real pyschic would know that I happen to be all about money, and that I don't think it'd bad or unnecessary. In fact, I'm all too aware that money is very necessary.
But then, maybe this is just a generic email sent out to everyone on Tara's mailing list.
Still, a real pyschic would've changed the message just to seem a little more authentic ... at least to me.
Tara then goes on to remind me that while money does make life a hell of a lot easier, I shouldn't make it my whole life.
Well, duh! Not only does money make life easier and more comfortable, but it also allows me to buy all those nice, shiney things I want. Plus if I had more money, then I'd be able to afford to pay for a nice holiday.
I'm pretty sure my life is all about these purchases, not the money.
But then, I think Tara means that I shouldn't just be hoarding away all my hard earned and never spending any more of it than I have to ... once again, I'm all about the spending of money. I've never understood people who work so hard for their money and then refuse to enjoy it, choosing, instead to hide it under their mattress or in a book or wherever they choose to hide it.
Seriously, what is the point?
Tara then finishes her beneficiary thought by hinting (rather storngly) that if I really want to start making money, I should stop stop focusing on trying to make it and instead focus on what I'd like to do with it if I had it.
That doesn't work. It just makes me sad that I can't buy all those nice shiney things I want. I think I have to focus on how to make it instead of what I'd do with it.
So, with that in mind, my fingers are crossed that I get an interview for the Ticketek job, and that I wow them and get myself a job there. Then I won't have to imagine what I'd do with money if I had it.
